  Beautiful Gorge view, plenty of space and a fantastic kitchen. They lose a star for advertising a fireplace and not letting you use it, but it was a great trip other than that.

• Review of "Nathan Loren - State Farm Insurance Agent" at Washougal

  THIS IS THE WORST STATE FARM BRANCH!!!!!! BEWARE OF USING THEM!!! I purchased commercial auto and general liability insurance through this branch. After 1 month I got a letter in the mail stating they were canceling my general liability insurance because they do not cover the type of business I am in. They never told me this while I signed up and paid for the whole year up front. I was able to get insurance with another company immediately no problem. It has now been 6 weeks and I still never received the remaining balance back from State Farm. I received another letter from them stating they must conduct an audit on my payroll records on the policy they cancelled. I gave them a call and they said they must conduct this audit before giving me a refund even though THEY CANCELLED THE POLICY FOR REASONS OUT OF MY CONTROL AND NO WRONG DOING ON MY PART!!!!!!!!!!!!! My agent has been a no show when I made appointments with her without a phone call as well. I am pulling all of my policies and I would never give them my business again. I am going to speak to the national branch next and my lawyer if I have to.

  Gause it a fantastic school. My children are K, 1 and 5th grade and they love it. Great teachers, wonderful staff and fun programs. The community is very involved in supporting the school. We are very happy here.

• Review of "Lookout at the Ridge Apartments" at Washougal

  A mix of good and not so good. Beautiful apartments that could be so perfect. Apparently no one inspected my unit before I moved in. In the first 2 weeks I had non-functioning dishwasher, ice maker, smoke alarms, and wall heater. Burned out light bulbs in Kitchen can lights, (guess you have to bring your own). Also no utilities (gas) for 7 days, yet charged rent during this period. I'd recommend insisting on your own inspection before paying deposits or getting keys. Also, make sure your utilities can be turned on immediately or you will be paying full rent while you wait. Never had this experience anywhere else. I'm used to transferring service to my name, but not waiting 7 days to get utilities turned on. When all problems are resolved, I hope it will be a great place to live. Rough start for me. Office staff not willing to work with me on rent adjustment during week I went without heat, stove and fireplace. Not sure I'd recommend.
